Hey guys,
I just switched into Health and Exercise science major at my school and it seems like there is a good number of research opportunities available. I talked to a kid who just applied to med school this year and he said he published a paper with the chair of the department.
I was wondering, how beneficial will this be for me to have? I'm somewhat concerned about my major and want to show that I'm serious so I would think getting involved with research could be helpful. There's also a required internship for 400 hours, that I could apparently do at a hospital, but that's not until senior year. I guess there's no way I could really have that show for dental schools?
