Clearly Harvard requires you to get letters from "all your research supervisors."

Sorry, man. Don't apply to Harvard. I mean do they even have a hockey team?

HMS is the only school I'm aware of that has this "requirement." I'm using quotes because in the past I know people applied without getting letters from all their listed research PIs and they were still given interviews. You could call the school and ask I guess.
