Research position drug test?

So I got a research offer at some cancer hospital and they told me that I would have to complete a 8 screen drug test. What are the chances that they'll do a hair follicle test? I know I won't test positive for a urine test, but kinda worried about a hair test.
If you test positive, it will be reported to the FBI and will show up on Ceritphi checks run on you by med schools.

Just kidding.

Call them and find out what the test is. My room mate just had to have a drug test to shadow a surgeon, and it was hair test (this was at Barnes Jewish Hospital), so that does happen.

1) Stop doing drugs. We can debate the legality of various things all you want, but you are getting to the point that you could seriously hurt your career over something dumb. See: the recent thread in which someone who matched lost their residency spot because of a hair test.

2) It's most likely going to be a urine test, but still, see 1).

Get a hair cut hippie!

jk, I have no idea. it depends on the institution. I work in medical research and the hospital does a urine test for their employees.

If your head hair is shorter than one inch they often take body hair instead

Yikes.

OP, I was drug tested for a hospital position and it was a urine test. For what it's worth, I believe urine is cheaper than hair.

Well, if you do need the clippers, get ready for a clip fest...bye eyebrows, bye eyelashes, bye everything!

You could tell them you have alopecia universalis. Heheh
