Does anyone have any ideas on where to look for clinical research positions for the year off? I would really like to do orthopedic research if possible but it is not a necessity. Thanks!

NIH http://www.training.nih.gov/student/index.asp. Other than that, it really doesn't matter. Try to go abroad or something.

you can look for RA positions in Science, but mostly benchwork I think.

I am actually looking into a bunch of areas. I would like to find clinical research in either Rochester, NY, Houston, Boston, or NYC. It would be great if I could find orthopedic clinical research but any positions are welcomed.

Email your CV to faculty and especially residents. They usually have tons of projects for young people to slave over.
