Hey guys,

I have this one credit "library research" class at my school and I have one final assignment which is a presentation. I am doing my presentation on the dangers of dental amalgam debate. I was wondering if you guys know of any interesting facts, or if any of you are knowledgeable on the subject. Any opinions on the matter would be helpful! (what do you guys think about the debate?) I understand most of us are pre-dents, but I am sure at least a few of you have something to contribute!

Thanks guys

Well, I would probably do actual research on amalgams via a scientific dental journal. Don't just go by any "interesting facts" through SDN.

Wait... in your presentation... are you taking a side? Or your just presenting both sides of the argument?

Not to be blunt... But no crap...I was just looking for some things to brainstorm with.

I read this a few weeks ago....I thought it was good and really provides some insight into how practicing evidence-based dentistry is and will continue to be needed when controversial topics such as this arise.
