research topic about pharmacy

i need ya's help and this is does not have to do anything with pharm admissions or schools, which is kinda weird, yes i know.

this is my last semester, and im graduating this May with a Biology major/ BS degree. anyway, im required to take a biology class called Seminar before graduating. the purpose of this class is for everybody to conduct their own research and present it. we have to attend everyone's presentations and do our own presentation as grade for the whole class.

so my presentation is coming up schedules for april 1st. i have to pick a bio-related topic and article that was peer-reviewed and has everything a basic research has: intro, methods, hypothesis, results, etc.

i want to do something pharm-related, since ill be going to pharm school (one day).. i researched "acetaminophen hepatoxicity" and had no luck, cuz my article needs to be from 2006-2008, mine was from the old age.

so my question to ya is: do ya know of any drugs that ppl tend to use/misuse normally w/o knowing it, being harmful in the long run? 😳
or can ya make any suggestions for a research topic..

Well, you could do the age-old research topic on the plethora of new MRSA drugs coming out and their effectiveness. Some key words to look up would be: vancomycin, quinupristin, daptomycin, MRSA, VRSA, or something to that effect. There's lots of published journal articles regarding the drugs in this topic so you'd have plenty of material to work with. Good luck!
