Research with a Relative

Hey Everybody,

I know it's a big mistake to get LORs from relatives, but what about doing research with them? I didn't actually work with my relative; my contact would be one of his colleagues. However, the lab is in his name and I don't see any way of including the activity without mentioning it.

Will this look terrible or will the adcoms just view it like any other research experience?
