Is it feasible to do research with more than one doctor over the summer? I am talking about clinical research. In the past, I have commit a full summer to one research project and it has not gone anywhere (however this was mainly basic science research. I am curious between my M1 and M2 summer, if I can do research with multiple doctors in order to increase my chance of publication in certain field. I am interested in ENT so I have reached out to 3 ENT doctors who all seem interested. Any past experience?

I understand that people might say enjoy your M1/M2 summer, etc. but I am 30 years old and trying to get my life going lol.

Thanks

Yeah I have worked with 2 to 3 PIs at one time on different projects, its tough and you have to manage your time Incredibly efficiently to keep up, but its doable. I would suggest just finding a single reputable PI and explain to him/her your position. Just work hard on the project, if its retrospective, you will be responsible for most of the heavy lifting so there will be less waiting on others like in basic science research.
