How long does the research take? Is it possible to be done during summer before D2? Or Should I start from D1 or D2 during school?

Ah. For my program you can do research summer before D1 (what I’m doing) or summer after starting D2. Unsure if D3s or 4s can but I’d imagine you’d have more time with clinic

Do you think summer term is enough time to do it? Is it full time for you now or part time?

It’s technically full time for me, but I’m doing some part time work. I’m probably putting in 30-35 hours of research a week right now. For ~10 weeks. I think D2s have 6-8 weeks to do full time research
