Does anyone know good places to do research in anesthesia in ny/nj area? My dilemma is this: I'm not a strong candidate and am trying to strengthen my applications. Should I try and get research at one of the ivy programs or some of the other ones where I can hopefully sneak in the backdoor. Then again, research at a strong established place can hopefully provide me a good letter, or does that matter? Any suggestions and advice would be helpful? Thoughts on the st. luke's, cornell, nyu, mt. sinai, columbia for research?
