So everyone says know about the school to which you are applying. What are some ways people have researched schools besides the obvious like school websites, sdn, matchlists, actually visiting. I'm having trouble coming up with more ways, but I'm sure there are some.

Aside from visiting campuses and actually speaking with students and faculity ... the things you listed seem pretty good to me!!

how about doing a search on SDN... type the school you want to learn about..and just add pros and cons to the search field or advantages disadvantages etc...thats what i did when i was applying..worked out good 🙂
