Residencies' information? help!

Hi -
I'm applying to surgical residencies but do not know what the various institutions/programs require in regards to board scores. Is there a book/website/database that has the various residency spots listed and the average board score ranges they take? I don't want to waste my time and money through ERAS applying to a programs I have no hope for.

No, nothing like this exists - it's not like applying to med school when you have the MSAR to list each school's average GPA and MCAT.

Yeah, sorry...such a list does not exist. Some programs list the minimum they will consider on their website but this is pretty uncommon; most will give you some line like, "we expect high achievement from all of our residents but applicants with extraordinary skills and experiences are encouraged to apply" blah blah blah.

Best to talk to your faculty and see where you think you would be competitive.
