I am currently in a foreign medical school. After my first semester I took a leave of absence because of some family problems. I received 4 WF"s but when I came back I finished the semester and received 2 Honors, 1 High Pass, and a Pass. Ever since then I have completed my 2 years at medical school and received mostly High Passes in all my subjects. I haven't taken Step 1 yet but according to practice tests I'm looking to score between 220-230. Will my one semester of WF's (because of the leave of absence) affect my choice of residency? I am looking to match in Internal Medicine.
