So I recently got accepted to an allopathic medical school. I just wanted to get a little insight on how things work as far as residency applications are concerned. Is it like Med school applications all over again? What do you need (other than good grades/step 1 scores) to strengthen your application to top residency programs? Does the prestige of the medical school you attend have anything to do with your chances of getting accepted into a residency program of your choice?
