If one is a permanent resident with a greencard (who has been living in the us for over 20 years), do they need to become a citizen to be as competitive for medical residency/matching? Or does it not matter?

    Thanks

A permanent resident is considered in the same light as a citizen. There are no visa issues/funding issues.
