Hello, does anyone know in which country of Europe i can go to begin my residency immediately after i take my license ? other than Germany
I am Eu citizen.
If you know, please tell me what steps i have to do to apply.

Best regards.

I believe the Netherlands, Belgium, France (but you need to take the ECN exam) are a few options. Others extend to the East of Europe (Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia etc.) Just make sure you get the language requirements out of the way.

I have to take ECN exam before i go there and start residency from the first year or i have to take ECN exam in which country i go ?

The ECN is only for France. Actually the process is a bit complicated for France (unless you have an EU medical degree.) You would have to apply to med school and after the 1st year take the Concours exam. Upon successful completion of this exam, you can then get exemption for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th year courses. You then enter the 6th year and take the final exam (the ECN) and depending on the score you get, you will be ranked accordingly. Your rank ultimately determines your specialty. There are 7,500 spots every year, so everyone will match. Getting into the tougher specialties means getting a higher rank.

Actually since you're an EU citizen with an EU diploma, you can directly go and write the ECN (which is a must if you want to get into a residency/training program in France.)

Note: the rules are different for Belgium or Switzerland. I would probably recommend Belgium if you're fluent in French as the rules aren't as stringent as they are in France.
