Hey Dr. Figs...

Can you repost some of those sites, the ones that cut and paste with the "..." in the addresses? They aren't complete...

Thanks!

[tussy]

If you look back to this site in the rotations and residency forum from last january/february you might find some disscussions that some of us had last year about our interviews and the questions we were asked. Hope it helps.

I copy/pasted this from somewhere on this website a while back.

FutureInternist's list is quite good. I will add one that I was tipped off on by a faculty member who sometimes asks this of applicants and that can throw people off:
"Tell me a joke"
I recently made a couple of posts on this subject on my blog--easy to find under "MD stuff" category.

[doctah27]

Iserson's guide to residency is like gold. I was asked almost every q in that book. 🙂

[themudphud]

I've heard about books on residency interviews and while helpful, keep in mind that your interviewers know about them too. One faculty member told me that the year one particularly popular residency interview book came out, during the interviews, students were specifically asked questions that were not in the book and students were told to ask questions that were not listed in the book as "suggested questions to ask your interviewers". Isn't that crazy? Most likely an extreme example, but just something to keep in mind.

I think only KUMC.EDU is useful out of that list. Rest of the links appear dead.

I would visit http://www.mockquestions.com/residencyquestions.html

[Winged Scapula]

I"m not suprised the links are dead.

It IS an 8 year old thread.
