Can anyone direct me to a web source that explains the duration and path of all medical residencies and their description??

For a more detailed description of the specialties, including residencies and fellowships, consult Kenneth Iserson's "Getting Into a Residency". This book is an excellent starting point for gathering information on each specialty, including the number of training spots and the length of training.
