Residency Position, Radiation Oncology, Wake Forest, Winston-Salem, North Carolina

The Wake Forest School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC, Radiation Oncology Residency Program has a resident position available on July 1, 2015. Preferred level is PGY-3-5, but others may apply. Wake Forest, accredited by the ACGME, was recently approved for a seventh residency position. It has a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center which recently completed a six-story expansion.

Residency training includes sufficient volumes in pediatrics and brachytherapy (HDR and LDR). Residents receive excellent preparation for academic or private practice. Our department currently has eight clinical faculty, eight physics faculty, and three radiation biology faculty.

Current Radiation Oncology residents who are U.S. citizens or holders of permanent visas should contact the program director, Dr. Michael Chan, at [email protected].

Please include a CV and cover letter explaining your desire to transfer.

A job will not be offered without receipt and verification of the following items:

· Medical school diploma and transcript

· Certification of internship training

· USMLE transcripts

· Current medical license

· Letter of good standing from current program director
