Residency program at Wash U?

Can anyone tell me about the residency program at Wash U? I have heard it is very strong and am thinking about doing a rotation there. Are the fellowships there good too? Any thoughts on the quality and competitiveness of their residency program would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! 🙂

The program is amazing (was my #1 over Bascom, JSEI, MEEI, Wills etc.) and very competitive to get into. The attendings there are probably the nicest you meet on the interview trail and the residents get great training and pretty much any fellowship they want. It is also impressive that most of the residents choose to stay there for fellowship because of the friendly and enjoyable environment. People claim it is very academic but they actually see more clinical stuff than most programs because of the HUGE facility. If only they would have taken me...
