Residency program rankings

i've been trying to find the rankings of residency programs, such as the top ten emergency medicine or radiology programs online but with no luck. i've tried searching for old threads on this website but for some reason i can't get the search to work, so if anybody knows of a website or perhaps even a book or magazine that ranks residency programs i would really appreciate the help. I don't think usnews ranks residency programs, do they?

i'm trying to use the info to help in my decision in choosing btwn ucdavis or pitt. thanks everyone for your help in advance.

I don't know that there are any official residency program rankings, with reason. I think the quality of a residency program does depend on some non-numerical items, including location, work policies, the RP director, fellow pgy's, and the work climate. Furthermore, I think the quality of some programs has the habit of changing from year to year, depending upon new policies and new directors.

However, I do suggest that you browse www.scutwork.com for some idea of how residency programs are evaluated.
