Quick Question,

I am currently a resident of Florida; however, my parents own property in Georgia. Is it possible for me to claim dual residency in both Florida and Georgia?....I basically want to be able to pay "in-state" tuition to both Florida and Georgia public schools 🙂

P.s.

P.s.

Why would you need to pay tuition to two schools at the same time? Are you finishing prereqs in one state and going to pharmacy school in another?
I guess it doesn't matter too much. Check with the schools to find out what they require as proof of residency. If you can submit said information you should have no problem. (Disclaimer: Consider any ethical implications if information is not submitted with the school's foreknowledge of the situation.)

I will be applying to pharmacy schools this summer and I wanted to know the possible chances of me being considered a resident of Georgia 🙂

... it really depends on the state's residency laws ... sometimes you need to have a driver's license and/or voter registration in the state you want to claim residency, lived in the state a certain number of years, etc ...

check with the schools you're looking into for specifics ...
