I'm a current Texas resident with a bachelor's degree and about one year ago I went back to complete the required courses for dental school. I've completed approx 20 semester hours in Texas and I've also lived here for about 2 years. For personal reasons, I'm considering a move back to my original state of residence, finishing up my last 6 credit hours, taking the DAT, and then applying.
If this happens, would I lose my Texas residency? Is there any way around this?
Texas has much lower tuition and 3 schools while the state where I'm moving only has 1 state school. Any thoughts?
