I'm looking to take an overseas trip after graduation and will be back by June 10. Do any residencies start their orientation activities before this date?

Maybe. But most don't. You probably won't know until sometime in May one way or the other. Just take your trip.

Most are about 2 weeks, from what I understand

One place I went starts orientation June 9. Everywhere else was the 12th or later, most were around the 15th.
