hi,
i ve completed my MD in psychiatry from India and i would like to do a psychiatry fellowship program in the US. Is it possible to do so without going through the residency program? how should i go about it? please help

You have to do a complete psychiatry residency in the US in order to qualify for fellowship or practice as a psychiatrist.
I've met several foreign grads who came to the US after already practicing in a certain specialty of medicine in another country. They all had to finish residency in the US in spite of whatever training they had.
