I would suggest googling "the process of doing residency in the US as an international medical graduates" first then come here with specifics questions for clarification. There are a wealth of readily available information.

Also there is an international medical forum here on SDN where you might find more people with better clues.

Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, US Residency.

I think a "if you want to do residency in the United States but don't understand rudimentary web searches.... You're gonna have a bad time" meme is in order here.

You have to take 3 board exams. Step 1, 2 and 3. Step 1 is the hardest exam and consists mostly of theory. Since you are an international you have to score at least average on this exam to have a chance at residency and likely higher for a good chance or for something more competitive.

I have no idea how to get residency in the UK though.

Now can you tell me how an American can get residency in the Middle East?

I'd like to find my dream of practicing in Abu Dhabi making $200K/year tax free, driving a Mercedes and also have a supermodel wife (could be a princess or a model I am not that picky)
