What's been your progress with regard to having your ACGME training approved through the AOA? There's so much hearsay and political noise surrounding this topic that obtaining a simple answer is difficult. Florida is "one of the five" states with a separate DO board that virtually mandates an osteopathic internship. Emergency medicine's first ACGME year, however, parallels most of the curriculum that the osteopaths see as necessary. For those of you future DO/EM grads planning to set up shop in Fla, Ok, Pa, and others, have you managed a state license?
