Colorado is the move
I feel like this situation is typically reversed in that the high prestige school/more expensive school requires moving across the country. I get the concerns over the cost of living, but Colorado still seems like the obvious choice to me.Thank you!
CU is a phenomenal program with tons of opportunities, and the proximity to amazing trails/sports can’t be beat. I do really worry that the high COL, exam schedule, and potential isolation could cause some mental hardships, though. But whether that’s enough to choose a lower-ranked (if ranking really even matters) school $50k more expensive and move across the country is tough.
