You can indicate a scheduled MCAT testing date on your primary, but schools are under no obligation to wait for your new scores to be sent in late August. I’d wait to add schools if you end up retaking . After you get your second set of scores, add the schools your scores fit at.

I was thinking this myself, but that will leave OP submitting most secondaries after Labor Day. I'm not in love with this. I get OP not wanting to lose a year, but that's the risk when you take the MCAT in late May and don't like your score. I'd do the throwaway now, and bail on the cycle if the score sucks. IMHO, having a sucky May score, no matter what it is later combined with, plus September secondaries is not exactly a recipe for a great cycle.

This is exactly what I think. If OP gets a less than desired score, just wait a cycle. There is no guarantee your score will rise significantly and it might go down.
