There were very few if any "vet school industry" sort of questions. I got asked, "where do you see the future of veterinary medicine" but not "what do you think about this research". I prepped by keeping up with the ordinary news - if there were developments with bird flu, mad cow, slaughterhouses, wild horse laws, horse slaughter, rabies vaccines - just to name a few things I've seen in the normal, CNN everyday news. Nothing with real veterinary depth, but definitely related. Just be familiar with what's going on, have some sort of opinion, but realize they don't expect you to know everything about everything...yet. 😛
I also borrowed the JAVMA's from the vet I worked for and flipped through them. They gave me an idea of current research. But I found the editor's letters more helpful - opinions from real vets on previous articles or other issues. Gave me a "temperature" reading for vets' thoughts.
