Resources to find job after residency

Hello,

I am in my residency currently and am interested in what resources are best to use when looking for a podiatry job after completion of residency. I am not sure if there are state specific resources but I am most interested in practicing in Florida or California, but am very open to any options and resources outside of those states.

Any info would be greatly appreciated- thanks!

Let people know you are looking. Harder to get jobs on the other side of the country unless you know people.

Pick up the phone and call people where you want to live.

Tell them you are looking to start or join a practice. Most people are cool, but you may run into some DBs. At least you will know who to look out for.

No letters, Call directly. Leave a message or wait on hold if you have too. Ask if you can talk after work on on lunch.
