Resp. systems text?

any luck with that resp textbook? I'm reading resp phys "the essentials" 7th ed by west... it doesn't seem to have any path though, which is what we're taking at M2 level. I don't remember really doing the physiology to this level last year though, so its an interesting read all the same. I've heard from upper years this mod is one of the toughest in the systems approach.

our prof told us that we should just read Harrison's at this level, but most in my class have picked up West's Phys like you did as well as Wests's pathophys.

West is an absolute essential for understanding respiratory physiology. IMNSHO, of course. I used it 1st year, 2nd year, for step 1, during 3rd year, and now that I'm a 4th year, I use it on my ICU rotations. I plan to use it during residency as well.

It's tiny, a fairly quick and managable read, and won't break the bank.
