I got an interview invite from Indiana a few days ago and noticed that they'll remove me from the list unless i respond to the letter within 20 days with a preferred interview date.


Do other schools do this to? how long do they usually give us before we get back to them? cuz im going to be out of country from the end of August til mid-September. so i wont be able to check my mail box or ansewer any calls

Is it possible that they might call us for interview invites?
Now I am considering canceling my plane ticket...🙁 What r ur opinions?

Some schools do call you for invites, but for the most part it's done by email and AADSAS status update.

The majority of the invites I got last year had a deadline on them. From the school's point of view, they have to keep everything moving along. Do you have someone who you'd trust to gather and sort your mail and to check your phone messages? Will you have a phone or cell phone while you are gone? Instead of cancelling your trip, you could enlist some help and have someone notify you of your dental school business. Also, will you complete all of your secondary apps prior to leaving?

Nova give you a specific date, which I couldn't change. You are given numbers to call and confirm.

I've not heard from either Case or Nova yet. And no AADSAS updates either. My application was submitted on June 16.

Has anyone who submitted early still not heard from them yet?

Oftentimes, schools will tell you you have something like 10 business days to reply or else they'll cancel your interview invite. However, if their interview invite somehow does not get to you (whether it is the post office's fault or your own), you should still call them back and see if you could schedule an interview because it's always worth a try, and it works!

Is leaving a voice mail more than enough to confirm my interview at nova or do i need to talk to someone? i tried calling twice for the past two days and ended up leaving two voice mails..

Yeah same thing happened to me too when I was trying to check on my status.

They never called me back either. When I finally got to reach them (after 5days of calling and calling) they were like oh u left a msg the other day.... they listen to them but just never call back i guess.

im not sure if leaving a msg is good enough to confirm the interview. i would say just keep calling if u wanna make sure. that's what i did and finally got to them. good luck!

what about those that have received interview invites from nova so far? were u guys able to reach someone by calling the number indicated on the letter? or did u guys just leave multiple voice mails like i did?

i called nova few times. they never pick up their phone 🙁. i just got my mail for interview yesterday night, and i only have a week to confirm my interview.

hey yeah i know it keeps directing me to voice mail. I have until next tuesday to confirm. Btw can i ask when u sent in ur secondary application?

um I submitted my secondary on 7/11 night (friday), I got my interview invite on 7/14 night (monday). However, they didn't have dat score, dat score was sent out on 7/17. Weird
