I am applying to CSUDH and SJSU this fall for acceptance into the OT program in 2013. Both of those schools don't mention anything about including a CV or Resume with the application packet. I really want to include mine in it, as I think it highlights some important experiences that there's isn't much room to include it in my personal statement.

Do you think it would work against me for including this? I keep thinking they might dock me on points because I didn't follow directions and included extra documents with my packet. However, I think it might help me as it really lays out my extensive background, that, as I mentioned, I don't have room for in a One page personal statement.

Thoughts?

As a current CSUDH student, I want to vote that you DON'T include extra material. However, why don't you just call the department and ask someone there.

If those are OTCAS schools, then you can put some of that information in using the experience, achievements, activities and volunteer hours area.
