if the pic was going on maternity leave or something, and the store made you temporary pic while she was gone, does that go on your resume? or just something you would tell the interviewer about? it was always meant to be just while she was away, so would an interviewer look at it like a promotion then demotion?...
 
Speaking from previous experience (before the pharmacy track): If it's for a reasonable amount of time (a month or more), it should be included. It shows that you were able to handle the load of being a PIC and counts as time in management.

It would definitely go on your resume. I would just be sure to include the time frame in which you were acting PIC.

Albeit banned, he makes a good point here!

If you were acting PIC at some points, it shows that you have taken on added responsibilities and have adapted to changing situations. Definitely include it in your resume. 👍
