For the AMCAS (and presumably the AACOMAS) you don't need a separate resume - by filling out the online form you'll essentially generate one. Having a resume will help you at least fill in the forms.

It might be beneficial to have during your interviews, in case something is on there that you couldn't put on to AMCAS.

i sent a copy to all the schools I applied to along with my Letters of Recommendation. A few actually had the resume on hand when I went for my interviews so I don't think it can hurt.
