If I do poorly in a class, and retake it, my university will only consider the second grade in my GPA. However, the first grade does remain on my transcript.

What does AMCAS do in a case like this? Do both grades get calculated into my GPA?

Hi,

I'd say that both grades get counted for AMCAS, because w/ AMCAS you enter every single class on your transcript. So unless the university removes from your transcript the first time you took the class (which yours doesn't...) then it will be counted.

From what I understand they average the two grades, however the aacomas (osteopathic) counts only the 2nd grade.
