Hey guys,
I transferring from Temple University to Lehigh. My gpa is above a 3.6 and I'm doing well in bio this semester. I will lose some ap credit if I go to Lehigh, but they don't really require history classes so I'm thinking it might not be too bad. My big question, is that Lehigh has a three semester intro thing with the first semester being molecular and cell bio, but my Temple class this semester does not teach the same stuff. Would it be a disadvantage for me in the long run if I take cell bio 1 in the fall of sophmore year and really do not finish with bio until the fall semester of junior especially with the mcats?

Doesn't sound like it will be a disadvantage but your question is not clearly stated. You only need to take 2 semesters of bio, and you will have to study for the MCAT outside of school anyway, so it doesn't really matter when or how much bio you take.

As long as you meet your pre-reqs don't worry about it. You can use review books for the MCAT.

The school I'm transferring to requires bio core 1, bio core 2, and bio core 3 for bio majors. I took general bio 1 at my old school, but the topics discussed are different than the ones discussed in bio core 1 at my new school, so would it hurt me if i took bio core 1 rather than skipping to bio core 2 and being expected to know the material from bio core 1. is that better worded?
