OCHEM:18
GCHEM: 18
BIO: 14
RC: 14
PAT: 14 ::scared::
QR: 15

and I just took my DAT for the second time and it's

AA: 17
TS: 18
OCHEM:20
GCHEM: 18
BIO: 18
RC: 17
PAT: 13 ::scared::
QR: 13 ahh!

OVERALL GPA 3.53
SCIENCE GPA 3.51
Also, I wanted to ask if the schools see that I have improved my science and RC overall from the first to second??
And I want to ask you guys if you can tell me WHICH SCHOOLS I might get a good chances in. I applied in June and the all schools I applied is state schools and private schools.

I hope you can tell me which school I will get chances in. I am so sad!

ThanKS!

Yeah, I would also re-evaluate how you study for this exam. What study materials did you use and how long did you study? If you get a decent score of 19-20, I think you'll be fine with your GPA considered. You won't be able to take the DAT until November though, so your application will be late. If you can take time to study effectively for the next 3 months, I would suggest a re-take. Schools will see that you improved, but I don't think it's really that much of an improvement, as your scores are still below average for accepted students.

I don't want to take a chance this time because then by November they won't consider my application and by that time the class will get filled up really quick!

but considering my first DAT SCORE (last year) I had 2 interviews and one waitlisted? so that is why I wanted to ask if there is any chances cause some schools over look the science more than the others for example. University of Detroit Mercy....
But atleast some private schools will give me some shots?

That's pretty amazing you got two interviews with an AA of 16, but if that's the case, I don't see why those two schools wouldn't invite you again. Did you ask them what you could do to improve your app and if there was a specific score they had in mind for you to get? How many schools did you apply to this year?

Well they said atleast get 18's on all sections but mainly importantly get on science because thats whats the dental class 1 is all about core science so they want to make sure you get 18 on them regardin that i got 18 18 and 14! which biology is more important..

PAT they said try to improve it if you can
QR they dont mind much if u get good grades in college math which I got an A in pre calc calc 1 and calc 2

hope this helps!

Yeah your science scores aren't too bad...it's just your PAT score that is of concern. I guess you can see how things go for the next month or so, and then decide if you do want to retake.

Okay...I have submitted the offical DAT thru all the schools on friday how long does it take them to recieve it??
