First time I took the DAT:

I got a 18AA/17TS/15 PAT:
4 interviews => three rejections and a waitlist

New scores:
18AA/19TS/16 PAT
We'll see what happens in round two.

I think these scores should be enough to get me into a school, mainly somewhere in Texas.

B.S. Biology, Health minor
GPA: 3.85
sGPA: 3.76

What did you get on your RC score?

Nice job. Those should get you in to a TX school. Best of luck this round.

I ended up with a 19 this time, I got a 24 the first time. Some passage about ethical dilemma and personal preservation screwed me over, since I ran out of time. Every paragraph was a new key term that was so close to the definition of the term before it, it was hard to remember. Had it been another scientific passage, I would have been fine. The other two passages were about Magnesium deficiency and it's link to cardio diseases and the importance of epithelial-mesenchymal interactions in physiology.

Thanks for the support jigabodo and jcdent, u guys are great.

Sounds like that ethical passage screws most people. Well, congrats on the improvement and good luck on your run this time.

My interviews were from UT Houston, UT San Antonio, Baylor, and NYU. I am currently waitlisted at NYU. I think my TS score was the greatest inhibitor of me not getting in the first time.
