Retake Formula: (GPA * 10) + MCAT > ?

In an another thread, chiripero posted the above formula as suggesting a lower limit for GPA and MCAT. Of course, the numbers are just one criterion on the admission process, but an important one.

I am interested in who has heard variations on this formula. What number do you think is the cutoff number (65, 67, etc.)? Should there be a different weighting factor applied to either GPA or MCAT?

In light of the many "Should I reapply?" threads, I thought this might be useful.

I've heard 70+ you're pretty much guaranteed an interview, 65+ and you'll get a bunch of interviews if the rest of your app is sparkling...
