I'm currently applying to medical schools, and I got waitlisted at one of my top schools. My MCAT score is my Achilles' heel; in fact, the deans of a few schools told me that I have a strong application but MCAT score may hinder me from getting an acceptance. However, I don't want to reapply next year because I'm taking mandatory courses that are definitely killing everyone's GPA. If I improve on MCAT next spring, will that school accept it? If I decrease my score on the exam but don't ask AMCAS to send it, will that school still see it anyway?
