hey all, the big question: to retake or not to retake mcat??

a bit of a dilemma: i only had 3wks to study for april mcat, but took it anyways so i could have a score to send in my amcas early. is it worth it for me to take a class, study hard, and retake this august? i wouldnt mind retaking, but i just dont know how much mcat is emphasized and how much of a difference it would make, and if that's a good use of time, if i could be working on secondaries n such instead,

You have only a remote chance of getting into a top MSTP with a 31 MCAT. If you are sure you can pull a 35/36, then it will make all the difference in the world. Your resume looks quite solid otherwise.

I agree with Gfunk. If you can improve, do it. It will make your life easier.
