So Im a nontrad students tackling prereqs.
I have a couple science classes that I got good grades in but I do not remember anything from the classes since it was a few years back. I would like to just move on to my other classes but wondering if i should retake them to have better understanding...or is it a waste of time

hmm

What classes exactly are you considering retaking, and which classes do you plan on taking in the future? Unless it you stopped in the middle of a series, you probably shouldn't have to retake anything... but it really depends on the classes.

I'm also a non-trad, and I think it depends on the class. Physics? I'd retake. Chem? I'd probably retake Chem II. Bio? I probably wouldn't retake, but I'd take an upper level bio class that would refresh my memory.

Do a few MCAT practice problems and see how much you remember. I honestly can't imagine studying for the MCAT 5+ years after having taken physics and chem, but people do it.
