I have a B.S. right now but I first started college at a CC. While there I earned one D+ and a few C's (all in insignificant non-science classes). Should I take time to retake these?

Currently I have a 3.0 sgpa and a 3.3 gpa. I also still need to take Physics 2, Organic 1&2, and probably Biochem. A little confused on what to do.

What are the classes? I went back and retook my C and D just to be sure at my CC. It's cheap anyways I would just do it. Knock it out in the summer. Good luck

It depends on what classes they are. If its something relative easy and you have time to do it then why not? You could boost your cGPA by a lot. However, don't retake as an extra load on your planned science courses since they're much more important and you want the A in all of those!

I'm juggling classes right now, three of which are retakes at a CC. I got C's in those classes (including a 5-unint Spanish course), and I will probably retake two more C's I got from the CC years. Retaking a D and two C's will bring your GPA up considerably if you get A's. If you have the time, I recommend retaking them. Heck, I may even retake sociology just for the heck of it, even though I got a B lol.

Those four classes are more important. I'm doing retakes and the prereqs, along with other sciences (microbio, biochem, etc) at the same time. Makes it feel more like my undergrad years with the main courses I need for my degree (premed prereqs), along with ge courses (retakes). It all depends on if you can handle taking two sciences and 1-2 retakes in a semester/quarter, and if you have the time. If you don't think you can handle it, then just concentrate on the sciences.
