I took the DAT today and I am not really sure if I should apply with my scores or not. I did badly on the math section (I practiced but I just suck at math). Please do help me out. Thank you.

@crossbonnez Apply. Why are you asking if you should? 19 is basically the average for matriculants nationwide. QR is the least important section. And 16 is the cutoff so you are fine.

What is your science GPA? This is an important factor to consider when applying to dental schools.

Matriculant average is 20 now (19.9 to be exact).

Very nice science GPA🙂 Love your reading score too! You should have an excellent chance at receiving interviews at some schools. With your high science GPA I am a little surprised you did not score a little higher in the chems. Many students struggle with the QR and most schools will accept a lower score in this section.

I still would contact the schools you are interested in attending and go over your stats.
