So I already applied in the second batch with an oGPA: 3.4, BCP GPA of 3.3 (strong upward trend the last 2 years around 3.7), and the following DAT scores:
AA:18
TS:18
PAT:19
Bio: 18
OC: 19
GC: 18
RC:19
QR: 18

I have shadowed a dentist for 80 hours, volunteered as a tutor (not paid) for low income middle school students as well as volunteering at a nursing home in total I have about 250 hours. I am 25 years old with a 5 year old son and I believe I have a strong PS and very strong LORs. So my question is should I retake or not? I am nervous because I have applied to 13 schools with no interviews yet (given that out of my 13 schools ASDOH, MWU-AZ, UoP, and Western U have given out interviews so far). Any input would really help thanks!

It's hard to say, an 18 is borderline so that'd probably why people don't want to say. Some people will be for and others will yell at them because an 18 is fine. It's a tough call.

I know! it sucks!! I don't know what to do because I don't want to retake it and do worse but not getting any interviews yet is killing the confidence.

My scores are kind of similar, 18AA/19TS/20PAT but I am retaking it in November, better be safe than sorry. I have 3.86 overall gpa and 3.75 science. I just don't want to risk it

So you think being way later in the cycle with the hopes of getting a higher score is better than having an avg score and being earlier in the cycle? Just trying to figure out whats better...

Well I've already applied and I was first batch, but my DAT scores were in just last week, I emailed all the schools I applied to and let them know that ill be retaking the DAT. In my opinion, they wouldn't pick an early 18 over a late 20+, you know what I mean? That's just my opinion, but I would rather be safe than sorry!
