So I took the DAT last summer and applied the 2010 cycle. I got 2 interviews and am currently wait listed at one school. I applied late July last cycle, but my LORs were not received until mid August. This cycle, I have already submitted my application, and it will be sent out in the first batch. I'm having a tough time deciding whether or not I should retake the DAT this august. These were my scores the first time I took the DAT:

PAT:17
OC:19
GC:19
Bio:20
RC:21
QR:18
TS:19
AA:19

I know my PAT is really low, but I am happy with my science and RC scores. My sGPA is a 3.25 and oGPA is a 3.44. Also, I am planning to take extra upper-level science courses next fall with a post-bacc program and work in the research field. I am really torn about what to do! Any advice?😕

If you think you can improve and you have time to study to make sure you improve then by all means go for it and retake. I was in a similar position as you and i ended up retaking and couldn't be happier that i did. Also by having your dat in AUG you will be able to see if you have a good shot with out it by how many interviews you have marked by then.
