howdy all,

I'm booking my first DAT, and thought I may be able to re-take it a month or two later if I don't do so well.

Then read on the ADA site that you can retake once in a 12 month period. Does this mean one test plus one RETAKE within 12 months of it, or that you have to wait 12 months from the date of the first taking?

Thanks.

The ADA states you can re-take the DAT after at least 90 days has elapsed since your last attempt. If you have taken 3 or more tests, then you have to apply for special permission from the ADA to test again and THAT is where your "once per 12 month" period comes into play.

wrong attitude bud. study like its your only chance

Yeh i agree with everyone. Study as much as you can because you only one to take it once, and only take it when your ready because a retake will be in 90 days. Good luck!
