So the first time I took the DAT I got

PAT 20, QR 18, RC 19, BIO 18, GC 18, OC 18

I took the test today and got

PAT 22, QR 17 , RC 22, BIO 17, GC 18, OC 19

My GPA is a 3.0 but I do have strong volunteer/shadowing/extra curriculars.

Should I retake the DAT ?

Apply and let us know what happens!

I submitted my app and never took the dat before, I will take it in August. But keep us posted.

Future SDNers will profit from this.

Your numbers certainly aren't ideal, but they aren't to the point where I would tell you to retake the DAT. 19AA is just slightly below the average, so apply broadly. If you do not get accepted this cycle I would look into boosting the GPA rather than retaking the DAT.

I have a 3.3 oGPA, and everyone told me to retake unless I got a 22+ AA... I don't know if you want to heed their advice, but it's definitely something to consider.

Good luck this cycle!
